This programme will support the vehicle industry with objective and independent research to help participating organisations to plan for, and implement effective vehicle data management systems aimed at improving service provision. It will focus on ways in which organisations in the vehicle value chain can extract maximum benefits from data capture and management technologies, drawing on cross-sectoral learning and experience gained from other fields.

Research will be carried out by the Distributed Information and Automation Laboratory (DIAL) of Cambridge University and its academic affiliates.
