Usage Agreement

The material on the gfft-portal web site is published on behalf of the GFFT e.V., the non profit organisation for supporting research transfer. Cognidata is managing the website and all legal issues. GFFT’s name, logo and all material published on the gfft-portal web site are subject to copyright protection, regardless of source. GFFT is a high quality source of latest technology and its successful application. To protect its reputation for objectivity, the appropriate use of our organisation name and research is required.

§1 Quotation Policy
  • All material published on gfft-portal is subject to copyright protection and fall under this Quotation Policy.
  • This policy applies to all contexts in which the GFFT name, logo or research may appear externally. It includes, but is not limited to advertising, annual reports, blogs, books, brochures, marketing materials, media alerts, newsletters, press releases, presentations, signage and speeches.
  • Quotes from published research must be properly attributed to the original research source. Proper attribution from published research is as follows: GFFT e.V. plus the full title, organisation, author and date of the research.

Copyright

Cognidata GmbH (hereinafter called Cognidata) is publishing technical reports and additional information material of many different authors from different organisations on the websites www.gfft-portal.de, www.gfft-portal.eu and www.gfft-portal.com (hereinafter called DOCUMENTS).

§ 1 Rights Granted

All Authors are required to explicitely name the copyright conventions in all DOCUMENTS they submit for publication on the websites www.gfft-portal.de, www.gfft-portal.eu and www.gfft-portal.com. Except where otherwise noted, content on these sites is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 License (Attribution-No Derivative Works). 

§ 2 Originality

The Author warrants that the DOCUMENTS are original except for such excerpts from copyrighted works (including illustrations, tables, and text quotations) as may be included with the permission of the copyright holder and author thereof, in which case(s) the Author is required to indicate the precise source. Cognidata has the right to permit others to use individual illustrations within the usual limits. The Author warrants that the DOCUMENTS contain no libellous statements and do not infringe on any copyright, trademark, patent, statutory rights or proprietary rights of others; and that he will indemnify Cognidata against any cost, expenses or damages for which Cognidata may become liable as a result of any breach of this warranty.

§ 3 Quality

Cognidata is permitted to reject Author’s DOCUMENTS in case of insufficient quality.

§ 4 Entire Agreement

This agreement shall be deemed to be made under and shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.
